Monday Motivation: My Go-To Meditation for Finding Positivity

Woman meditating

Happy Monday, everyone!

I often get asked how I stay motivated, especially when life feels overwhelming or I'm stuck in a creative rut. The truth is, I meditate at least once a day, and whenever I’m feeling uninspired or lost, I turn to guided meditations. One of my favourites is by Nikki Dyer, from her Coached by Nikki Dyer YouTube channel.

Today, I want to share one of Nikki’s guided meditations that has become a lifesaver for me. It's one I keep coming back to, especially when my mind feels cluttered, or I'm battling with self-doubt. This particular practice is unique because it asks you to confront something you fear—a challenging but powerful approach to reframe that fear and transform it into motivation.

Now, I won't lie—this isn’t your typical “relax and zone out” meditation. You'll be gently guided to bring a fear or anxiety to mind. But don’t let that scare you away! This exercise isn’t about dwelling on negative thoughts, but about facing them head-on in a safe, supportive space. In doing so, I've found it unlocks something within me—whether it’s renewed energy, creativity, or just a sense of calm to move forward.

For those of you who are new to meditation or perhaps hesitant to try it, trust me when I say, it’s worth it. Not only does meditation help me focus on my writing and daily tasks, but it’s also become a vital part of my self-care routine. No matter how busy life gets, making time for mindfulness has allowed me to find clarity in the chaos.

So, whether you're a seasoned meditator or just starting out, I invite you to try this practice. If you’re feeling stuck, anxious, or simply need a little Monday Motivation, click below to watch the video and discover My Go-To Meditation for Finding Positivity.

As with any meditation, I recommend finding a quiet space, maybe lighting a candle or some incense, and allowing yourself to fully immerse in the experience.

Let me know how it goes for you! Remember, even just a few minutes of mindfulness can make all the difference in turning your day around.

Here’s to starting the week with clarity and courage.

Until next time!
